This animation by BLU is pretty spectacular (to say the least). Not only is it smooth within its movements, he also manages to incorporate appropriate sound effects and music. I can't imagine how tedious such a process could be, yet judging by the end result, it is absolutely worth it.

Another stop motion test, again using only modeling clay, though this time experimenting with different colours, as well as home made clay. Some of the shots are out of focus but if used correctly this effect could prove quite effective and interesting. Again, 25 fps.

Stop motion test

This is a stop motion test of approximately 200 photos together to make a 9 second movie, using 25 frames per second. The camera is kept steady using a tripod and stays in the same position. The only material used in this is white modeling clay.
